What an ABSOLUTELY gorgeous print, not typical for a red-carpet event such as the Emmys which is why I LOVE IT!

I love how this dress is both minimal with the cut yet bold with the sequins fabric.
In white this would make a Fabulous wedding dress.

The beautiful colour really makes this dress; in black it might not be interesting enough.

This colour is incredible and with the amazing cut, it’s a really show stopper dress.

And now for the WORST DRESSED!

There’re so many things wrong with this dress. First of all the top half doesn’t go with the bottom. Secondly the large white mass makes her look top-heavy and thirdly it isn’t a flattering cut on anyone regardless of their shape!

Fine to be influenced by a period but she looks like she has walked off 60s film set, it's way too costumey.

Addiction twenty: LIVING DOLLS

Some people collect porcelain figurines others collect Star Wars memorabilia well what would a fashionista collect? That’s right dolls of her favourite fashion heroes, Anna Wintour and Grace Coddington! Barneys New York commissioned the artist Andrew Yang to create couture dolls of the Vogue editors in celebration of Fashion’s Night Out in NY. Anna and Grace will be auctioned off from August 31st on Charity Buzz with the proceeds going to The New York City Aids Fund.

Have you ever suffered from Shopping Fever? It’s a moment of madness when you can't resist buying everything in sight even though you don't need it and worse it’s at FULL price! Well I have! With leather continuing to be a big trend next season I just had to get a new jacket, how could I not! I completely fell in LOVE with this one from All Saints, £295



Another key item for next season is the maxi skirt, so it was essential I buy one or at least that’s what I told myself. Zara, £59.99


Now with navy fast becoming my favourite colour I realised I had to get some in my wardrobe! Pied a Terre skirt at House of Fraser, £75

Addiction nineteen: MINIMALISM

Had enough of extreme silhouettes, exaggerated shoulders, and sky scrapper heels? Me too! autumn/winter see’s the return of the fashion Purist! With pared-back separates polished daywear and wait for it.... the evening trousers!!

Fashion has grown up this season with the rebirth of the woman! Longer skirts, luxe cashmere jumpers, tailored trousers and the adorable kitten heel are key staples to have in your wardrobe. With the continuing economic down turn women are also making more considered purchases with function now trumping fantasy i.e. coats that turn into jackets ala Burberry. Longevity, versatility, understated and minimal are the key words and they haven’t been in fashion for a long time. It’s a seismic style shift with a welcome return to the new definition of Easy Chic!

Addiction eighteen: V FESTIVAL 2010

What is a festival without a little rain? The weather report for the weekend’s V Festival was a mix of both sunshine and rain. Well how was I supposed to pack for that? Will it rain enough to wear willies? Will it be sunny enough for shorts? These are the all important questions for any festival goer when fashion is equally as important as the music.

I was fortunate enough to be a VIP Louder Lounge guest which to be honest is the only way to do V. It’s the place to be and to be seen regardless of the weather. There I spotted some very stylish girls and one very stylish boy.......

The adorable Diana Vickers was there wearing a FAB Australian fashion label, Sass & Bide.

Loving this fuchsia flora maxi dress perfectly paired with her tan leather jacket to give it a bit of edge.

Black and grey leopard print harem trousers styled simply with on trend accessories like a trilby and a boyfriend watch for a bit of quirky cool.

How cute are these bow wellies? There were are so many different styles, brands and colours but these by far were my favourite. Check them out at Joules.


Great way to wear cowboy boots without being a cowgirl.


The gorgeous model Viktorija Skyte from Storm was there looking casual cool in her easy combo.

I love the on-trend leopard-print headband finished with bright red lips and always stylish Ray-ban.

Part of the perks of being VIP is having professional MAC artists do your make-up and Redken hair stylists blowing drying your hair. Lucky me, just want I need after a night camping in a tent. Michelle from MAC did an AMAZING job and she had some of the most interesting tattoo art that I’ve seen at V.

He’s the ever cheeky Dermot O’Leary enjoying the festival’s beer as well as the music. For the upcoming series of the X-Factor Dermot is said to be jazzing up his look with the help of super stylist to the stars, Tom Stubbs however today Dermot decided to style himself.

For me high street fashion was the way to go, you can look stylish at a fantastic price plus it allowed me to be carefree as I wouldn't be devastated if any of it gets ruined by the rain or worse mud. This parka from New look is a very cool and hate to say it ‘practical’ item to keep you warm at festivals. I also decided to go with comfy leggings instead tight skinny jeans better for all night the dancing.

Now if you are a music lover The Charlatans did an AMAZING set by far better than Kings of Leon on the main stage.

BEHIND THE SCENES: In London Magazine

It was a long but amazing day in the studio. Starting off slow and a little stressful with the model having the thickest hair ever! And electricians wanting to turn off the power for an hour so they could do some work on the building, eek! However once we got going things couldn’t have been better. I was styling the autumn issue of In London magazine with the AMAZING photographer Perry Curties, editor of 125 Magazine. It was my first time working with the incredibly talented Perry and he did a wicked job. The look was masculine tailoring and I got some incredible pieces from Helmut Lang, Daks, Amanda Wakeley, Ralph Lauren, Burberry, Christian Louboutin, and many more. The issue comes out in September and I cannot wait to see it!
