I had the privileged and honor to work with an amazing new designer this week from New York, Brandon Sun. Neiman Marcus invited this talented RTW designer to showcase his signature collection of luxury fur accessories, in Chicago. I along with two other fabulous fashion bloggers, Emma Arnold (Très Awesome) and Carol Calacci (Second City Style), were asked to style a look from Brandon’s line for the event.

My latest photoshoot consisted of my wrapping a man dressed in a Welsh Guard uniform head to toe in wrapping paper.
It took me over 2.5 hours and 4.5 half rolls to do this!

Yesterday I was at the W Hotel styling the up and coming actress Danielle Campbell for Michigan Avenue Magazine. My brief from the magazine was “young, fun and bright” so I knew straight away I wanted to feature clothes from Marc by Marc Jacobs , DVF, Milly, Miu Miu and Kate Spade .
This beautiful and gifted girl has been in several TV productions like StarStruck and Prison Break. She is making her big screen debut in the Disney movie, Prom, coming out later this year.
It was my first time working with the very talented and lovely photographer, Heather Talbert, who took some amazing photos of Danielle. The creative and hilarious Carley Martin did a fantastic job with her hair & make-up.

It was a long but amazing day in the studio. Starting off slow and a little stressful with the model having the thickest hair ever! And electricians wanting to turn off the power for an hour so they could do some work on the building, eek! However once we got going things couldn’t have been better. I was styling the autumn issue of In London magazine with the AMAZING photographer Perry Curties, editor of 125 Magazine. It was my first time working with the incredibly talented Perry and he did a wicked job. The look was masculine tailoring and I got some incredible pieces from Helmut Lang, Daks, Amanda Wakeley, Ralph Lauren, Burberry, Christian Louboutin, and many more. The issue comes out in September and I cannot wait to see it!

Two reasons I LOVE styling fine jewellery shoots; One you get to use (and maybe try on) very EXPENSIVE jewellery that only billionaires and celebrities ever get to touch.
And two I don’t have to do any of the TIME CONSUMING returns!! The jewellery gets dropped off at the beginning of the shoot and then collected at the end, it’s perfect.
However shooting fine jewellery can be really STRESSFUL, being responsible for millions of pounds worth of diamonds. If anything happens to the jewellery YOU are held responsible!
Having access to these stunning pieces allows you to create something incredible beautiful and that’s very EXCITING.
The photographer Michael Hedge did a geat job.

My most recent fashion shoot was for the London Thames river cruise, Silver Fleet. Shot with the lovely and talented Greek Photographer, Constantinos Tsiliacos and using one of my favorite models, Olivia Inge from Models 1. I have ALWAYS wanted to work with her and she was worth every penny!
Lucky us it was a BEAUTIFUL day and the view sailing down the Thames was UNBELIEVABLE!
