However the reign of the low-rise trousers has slowly been coming to an end with the return of the high-waist. Don’t be alarmed this doesn’t mean in any way that “mom jeans” are in fashion. It might be a hard move for you if you are addicted to your low-waisted jeans but give it a chance. The cut is a fresh looking silhouette that hasn’t been seen for ages. How to wear this look? Wide leg, boot cut or skinnies they all work high-waisted it’s really down to your preference of style. However you must be careful when selecting both your top and shoes. You want to tuck in the top or you’ll lose the shape, which is key to this look. Also a chunkier shoe works better with a wide leg or boot cut, nothing too delicate – having said that you can wear flats with skinnies. Trust me once you’ve put on a pair you wont look back!
