TALKING TRENDS: The Baseball Cap

At New York Fashion Week, back in February, I fell in love with a look I saw at Hervé Léger show, baseball cap paired with eveningwear! FYI the always cool Russell Simmons was also there watching the show wearing what else? But a baseball cap! I was only a couple of rows behind him and in total awe.

Anyways back to these caps, it’s a fashion forward trend that will instantly make you look insanely cool. However you can also create this edgy style for the day if you style it right. Pair it with a fabulous outfit, something totally unexpected, like heels and a skirt.

I personally love the idea of a sports brands cap with a retro design from someone like Adidas Originals or Nike. Another store to find great old school caps is Urban Outfitters. I also like the idea of non-traditional materials. For example J. Crew has done a wool cap with crystals or a calf hair leopard print cap. On Net-a-Porter you can get a suede cap by Eugenia Kim.

  1. Got this for my boyfriend and added a patch to it. Fits him great and he loves it. Spent less money than buying one with the patch already on it.

  3. I simply love caps which looks beautiful. I am having different types of caps at home each different in color. I usually wears it during winters. I like wearing printed caps. There are several types of caps available in the market price ranging from low to high but, I have seen that trend of customized caps is increasing day by day. People specially prefer customized caps. You can imprint a person's name on it of you can imprint a photo of your loved ones. Hence it will not only look beautiful and stylish but will also look trendy. These types of caps are easily available in the market, but you can purchase it online too. There are several colors to choose from.

  4. Never pick a bat that will keep going for a couple of years, particularly for youngsters. Any bat should fit for that prompt season, not be something a kid develops into.
